The U.S. Martial Arts Team is a proud 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a powerful mission: to bring together and coach the most talented martial artists from across the country, preparing them to represent the United States with honor, integrity, and spirit at domestic and international tournaments throughout and the World Martial Games which is held every two years. Our team is made up of athletes from a wide range of martial arts styles and backgrounds, coming together as one unified team. We welcome all disciplines— such as karate, taekwondo, kung fu, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and beyond. The US Martial Arts Team is not just about competition—it’s about character, community, and the kind of teamwork that makes lasting impact. No matter your age, gender, or background, if you have the passion, skill, heart, and work ethic, there is a place for you on our team to shine!

US Martial Arts Team
The United States Martial Arts Team competes every 2 years at an International location decided on by the World Games Board of Directors. The 14th Semi-Annual World Games will be held in Oslo, Norway in 2025.
NON-CONTACT
US Martial Arts Team members can compete in the following Non contact Japanese/Okinawan Kata and Kubodo, Korean Patterns, Chinese Forms, Long and Short Weapons, Non-Traditional, Creative, Musical and Extreme Forms and Weapons, Team and Synchronized Forms
CONTACT
US Martial Arts Team members can compete in the following contact events Point sparring (Individual and Team), Continious Sparring, Kumite (Team & Individual), No Gi and Gi Grappling, Self Defense and Breaking



WORLD MARTIAL ARTS GAMES
The World Martial Arts Games are a world class venue for elite martial artists of all styles to come together under one roof and enjoy fair competition. The US Martial Arts Team holds regional qualifiers at the beginning quarter of every year to scout players for open slots on the team. In 2025 the World Games will be held in Olsa, Norway.
TRADITIONAL FORMS
The US Martial Team competes in different forms such as Japanese, Okinawan and Korean Traditional forms and patterns.
KUMITE
The US Martial Team competes in different fighting divisions such as Kumite, Team Kumite, Point Fighting, Team Fighting, Continuous, Open Weight and Grappling.
POINT FIGHTING
The US Martial Team competes in different fighting divisions such as Point Fighting, Kumite, Team Kumite, Team Point Fighting, Continuous, Open Weight and Grappling.
CMX FORMS
The US Martial Team competes in different forms such as CMX Forms and Weapons.
GRAPPLING
The US Martial Team competes in different fighting divisions such as Grappling.
